Fire prevention and rescue awareness training has become an annual activity at CityLand

As a company that values employee training, CityLand kicked off the program with a professional fire safety session for staff across its subsidiaries and member companies. The drill officially began at 10:30 AM with a simulated scenario in which smoke was detected coming from the 6th floor of the CityLand Tower. The initial cause was identified as an electrical short circuit. The in-house fire safety team promptly guided staff to evacuate the building safely and used on-site equipment to control the blaze. Shortly after, two fire trucks, a command vehicle, and dozens of officers from the Go Vap District Fire & Rescue Police—along with supporting units such as Ward 5 police and on-site security—arrived to coordinate the firefighting effort. The drill was conducted to assess the responsiveness of the in-house fire safety team as well as the collaborative readiness of external units in handling large-scale fires. The scenario also helped determine evacuation and rescue strategies suitable for high-rise buildings.2J4A1563.jpg

The drill proceeded smoothly as planned, thanks to the close coordination among the Go Vap District Fire & Rescue Police, Ward 5 police, and CityLand staff working at the tower. This event not only highlighted CityLand Group’s commitment to fire safety but also served as a valuable opportunity for employees to practice emergency protocols and raise awareness—especially during the dry season.
