CITYLAND GROUP JOINS HANDS WITH THE CONSUMER STIMULUS PROGRAM TO WELCOME THE NEW YEAR 2023

On the evening of December 27, 2022, the opening ceremony of the “Consumer Stimulus Program and New Year 2023 Celebration Events” took place at Hòa Bình Square (CityLand Park Hills Residential Area), attracting thousands of visitors who came to shop, enjoy cultural exchange activities, and experience vibrant art performances.

The event ran for five consecutive days, from 6:00 PM on December 27, 2022, to midnight on January 1, 2023, at Hòa Bình Square (Street No. 3, CityLand Park Hills Residential Area, Ward 10, Go Vap District). It featured a rich lineup of cultural and artistic performances, ranging from traditional to contemporary acts, both domestic and international. Highlights included: traditional instrumental performances by the family of Meritorious Artist Đức Dậu; solo acts with self-made instruments by Vietnam Record Holder Artist Mai Đình Tới; ethnic costume showcases; folk songs from the three regions of Vietnam; comedy shows, circus acts, magic performances; and modern music, dance, and instrument showcases featuring Top 3 contestants from The Voice Vietnam and runner-up band “18B” from The Band by Vietnam show. There were also cultural competitions and traditional Tet culinary events.

The grand finale was a spectacular New Year’s Eve Countdown and fireworks show to welcome 2023, featuring a large-scale ensemble of 300–500 performers, including 100 traditional drums, 100 acoustic guitars, and 50–100 bass and electric organs.

The Consumer Demand Stimulus Program and New Year 2023 Celebration Events serve as a practical and effective solution to boost local consumption. The event gathered the participation of 120 businesses with 150 booths showcasing, exhibiting, and promoting a wide range of products. Many booths reported a high volume of interest and purchases from visitors. Security and public order were well maintained thanks to the coordinated efforts of the local police, civil defense forces, community security teams, and CityLand Group’s residential security personnel.

A wide array of cultural exchange programs, musical and artistic performances were held to meet the shopping, entertainment, and recreational needs of the community, celebrating both the Western New Year and the traditional Lunar New Year.

Through this event, participating businesses also launched numerous promotional campaigns and attractive discounts, while contributing gifts—many of which were their own products—to support underprivileged households and workers, helping them enjoy a warm and joyful Tet holiday.

In 2022, Ho Chi Minh City introduced several strategic directives and bold measures to revive and advance socio-economic development in the aftermath of the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. These efforts laid the groundwork for the successful implementation of the 2021–2025 five-year plan. From the beginning of the year, Go Vap District actively led the deployment of innovative, breakthrough, and comprehensive solutions to remove obstacles, support businesses and local vendors, and quickly restore and grow production and commercial activities.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyễn Văn Thiệu – Chairman of the Go Vap District Business Association – shared: “The Go Vap District Business Association will continue to act as a bridge, creating opportunities for businesses, cooperatives, and household enterprises to showcase products, engage in economic exchanges, promote trade, and share experiences to advance their operations. Through this program, we aim to expand our network of members and collaborate with local authorities to organize business forums and dialogues. This will foster stronger connections among enterprises and support the district’s economic development. The Executive Board of the Association remains committed to listening, collecting feedback, and promptly relaying the concerns and expectations of businesses to district leadership for timely resolution—ultimately contributing to a stable and growing business environment.”
