SPREADING A MEANINGFUL GREEN LIVING MESSAGE TO CELEBRATE CITYLAND GROUP’S 21ST ANNIVERSARY
In the joyful spirit of celebrating its 21st anniversary (July 8, 2003 – July 8, 2024), CityLand Group launched a meaningful GREEN LIVING campaign to inspire positive change. This important initiative aims to spread love for nature and raise awareness about environmental protection, creating a fresh, sustainable, and vibrant green working environment throughout the entire CityLand Group system.

1. Green Living – A Journey from Vision to Action
CityLand Group’s green living movement goes beyond mere slogans or short-term campaigns. It is a long-term journey, starting from small ideas that yield significant impact, and has received strong support from the leadership as well as the entire staff.
This green initiative has been widely implemented and deeply embedded into each department, unit, and branch, promoting a spirit of positivity and creativity in integrating green practices into the daily work environment.
With the message “For a Greener CityLand,” the Hanoi Branch launched a tree-planting campaign, encouraging enthusiastic participation from all employees while raising environmental awareness and promoting effective protection measures at the company’s project sites. The saplings planted will be nurtured until CityLand Group’s future project in Hanoi is completed—at which point, the grown trees will be relocated and planted along the streets and boulevards of the development.

CityLand Hanoi Branch staff actively participated in the tree-nurturing initiative.
At Garden View Court Hotel, each employee demonstrates their sense of responsibility and love for the environment through small but meaningful actions—such as planting trees and tending the garden—to help spread a green lifestyle.

"Green, Clean, Economical, and Creative" — that is the spirit embraced by the three departments: Administration, Planning, and Project Legal Affairs 2 in arranging and enhancing greenery in their workspace. Through unity and dedication, this alliance of departments has fostered a greener environment, helping to minimize environmental impact.

The Finance and Accounting Division embraces a minimalist desk decoration style, effectively reusing surrounding items to maintain a "Green – Clean – Beautiful" workspace. Green is not only the color of plants, but also a symbol of freshness and enthusiasm.

In addition to encouraging team members to use reusable water bottles or cups instead of plastic ones, all plant pots in the workspace are made from eco-friendly materials such as coconut husks and ceramics. This reflects the spirit of the Project Operations Department and the Internal Control Board, aiming to reduce pollution, harmful substances, and contribute to environmental protection.

To create a spacious, calming environment and a fresh, pleasant atmosphere after intense working hours, the Procurement Department has also embraced the presence of greenery and plants in their workspace.

The Design Management Department fosters a “Green – Clean – Beautiful” workspace by replacing, using, and repurposing eco-friendly materials, adding a fresh breath of “green oxygen” to the office environment.

The Project Legal Division conveys a meaningful message through the Green Living movement: Let’s protect our Earth and our green planet through mindful everyday habits.

The Green Living initiative extends beyond the company level—it touches every individual. Ms. Nguyễn Thị Son, from the Procurement Department, shared: “It’s wonderful that we can contribute to environmental protection right in our workplace.” With equal enthusiasm, Mr. Cao Hữu Đạo from the Project Operations Department expressed: “Greenery not only beautifies the office but also helps me stay focused and relieve stress.”
To honor and appreciate individual contributions to the company, Mr. Dương Ngọc Bảo from the Assistant Secretary Team – Investment & Development Department was proudly awarded the Creative Idea Prize for his concept: “The Memory.” His idea aimed to express love for CityLand Group by creating a dedicated space to preserve precious memories and milestones through a collection of photos and memorabilia, chronicling each year of service with the company.

2. And the winning teams
The Green Living movement sparked an exciting and inspiring competition, with each of the three winning teams leaving their own unique impression.

Aiming for the criteria of “Green – Clean – Beautiful,” the Human Resources Department and the Legal Affairs Department added a personal touch of green to each member’s workspace with a small potted plant and a charming nameplate. Every desktop plant was thoughtfully selected, each carrying its own meaning and color. The highlight of their green workspace was a photo frame shaped like a sailing boat.
More than just preserving beautiful memories, this frame was not only an artistic centerpiece in their green office, but also a powerful symbol of unity, growth, celebration, and creativity. The boat represents the spirit of perseverance and collective strength in overcoming challenges. Let us all cherish and spread this spirit of enthusiasm, so that this “boat” keeps sailing forward, toward new shores of success.
The Commercial Division launched a creative internal communication campaign by sharing stories of green living through 12 plants, each symbolizing one of the 12 team members. Through this, they spread the message: “We love CityLand – We love Green Living.” Especially on the occasion of the company’s anniversary, the division introduced a “Tree of Inspiration,” where each member wrote heartfelt messages and hopes on green leaves to dedicate to CityLand Group for the journey ahead.

CityLand Phu Quoc also nurtured and expanded a refreshing green workspace with a diverse collection of plants, fostering unity and positive energy among team members.

3. Growing Green, Shaping the Future
Not stopping at the achievements already made, CityLand Group has set out a long-term plan to expand the Green Living movement across the entire system—from Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc to Hanoi.
1.Establishing Green Living Policies and Regulations:
CityLand Group will implement regulations on energy use, electricity savings, and environmental protection within the office. This aims to raise awareness and individual responsibility in maintaining a green workplace.
2.Organizing Regular Activities:
CityLand Group will continue to host regular green-themed events, campaigns, and activities to maintain momentum and spread the movement. These initiatives will help employees stay updated with green living knowledge and skills, while also creating opportunities for sharing and mutual learning.
3.Encouraging Creativity and Idea Contribution:
The company will create communication channels for employees to submit ideas and initiatives related to green living. Outstanding and creative ideas will be reviewed and put into practice, allowing everyone to contribute to building a sustainable, green, and innovative work environment.
4.Collaborating with Environmental Organizations:
Looking ahead, CityLand Group will seek partnerships with environmental organizations and sustainability projects to learn from and adopt best practices. These collaborations will enhance the effectiveness of the Green Living movement and contribute to broader environmental protection efforts within the community.
The “Green Living” movement is not only a meaningful gift celebrating the company’s 21st anniversary but also a clear commitment to sustainable development and a greener future. Thanks to the enthusiastic support and participation of all staff members, the movement has spread widely and achieved remarkable results.

With well-planned long-term strategies, CityLand Group will continue to maintain and grow the Green Living movement—helping protect the environment and creating a fresh, vibrant, and sustainable workplace. This will not only attract talent but also leave a strong, positive impression on clients and partners, contributing to the company’s sustainable growth.
