CITYLAND GROUP SPREADS HUMANITARIAN VALUES THROUGH THE “RED SUNDAY” BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM

On June 1st, 2023, CityLand Group, in collaboration with Tiền Phong Newspaper, organized the 15th Red Sunday blood donation campaign at CityLand Park Hills (Gò Vấp District). The event was professionally supported by Chợ Rẫy Hospital (Ho Chi Minh City) and carried a meaningful message that resonated deeply within the community: “Donate blood to save lives – the lifeline of you and me.”

“Red Sunday” is one of the most impactful community initiatives in Vietnam. Launched by Tiền Phong Newspaper in 2009, the program carries a noble mission — to bring life-saving blood to underprivileged patients in need of treatment each year. Beyond its practical value, the campaign also spreads powerful messages, raising awareness and encouraging voluntary blood donation across all sectors of society.

A representative of the CityLand Park Hills Residential Management Board shared: “The Red Sunday movement by Tiền Phong Newspaper is incredibly meaningful, and we are proud to support it wholeheartedly. To ensure wide participation, the CityLand Park Hills Building Management informed all residents of the time and location. We utilized every available communication channel to spread the word and continuously broadcast announcements about the program.”

In response to this humanitarian blood donation drive, many residents of CityLand Park Hills and surrounding neighborhoods arrived early in the morning to participate. For many young people, it was their first time donating blood, and they were excited to hold their very first Voluntary Blood Donation Certificate in hand.

Each blood donor also received a complimentary motorbike insurance card from MIC Bac Sai Gon Insurance Company, a member of the Military Insurance Corporation (MIC).
