A KALEIDOSCOPE OF EMOTIONS AT THE “CITYLAND GROUP SPORTS FESTIVAL” CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF FOUNDATION

As part of the 20th Anniversary celebration series, “CityLand Day” took place with great excitement and enthusiasm over two days, June 17–18, 2023.

On the morning of June 17, 2023, the football matches were held at Khang An Football Field, 18A Phan Văn Trị Street, Ward 10, Gò Vấp District, and on June 18, 2023, the remaining competitions took place at the Gò Vấp District Cultural and Sports Center, 5A Nguyễn Văn Lượng Street, Ward 16, Gò Vấp District. The event was organized by CityLand Group as part of the celebration of its 20-year journey of establishment and development.

CityLand Sports Festival – Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of CityLand Group

The “CityLand Day” Sports Festival provided a vibrant, healthy playground aimed at enhancing physical well-being and promoting an active lifestyle to improve work performance. Embracing the spirit of “Unity, Integrity, and Sportsmanship,” the event brought together dedicated athletes who competed with enthusiasm and responsibility, delivering thrilling and visually striking matches for the audience.

Attending “CityLand Day” were Mr. Bùi Đức Liêm – CEO of CityLand Group, Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Tài – Deputy CEO of CityLand Group, Mr. Nguyễn Thành Chung – Director of CityLand Phu Quoc, and Ms. Võ Thu Hà – Chairwoman of the CityLand Group Trade Union, along with athletes and supporters from the extended CityLand Group family.

Mr. Bùi Đức Liêm – CEO of CityLand Group – delivered the opening speech at the ceremony.

As part of the “CityLand Day” celebrations, in addition to the men’s football tournament, the badminton and Chinese chess competitions also drew great attention and enthusiastic participation from numerous athletes representing CityLand Group, its branch offices, and member companies.

The determined spirit of the athletes shone brightly during the men’s mini football matches.

After days of enthusiastic training, “CityLand Day” unfolded with intense matches, unforgettable moments, and cherished memories for every participating athlete. Though not professionals, the athletes brought to the event beautiful plays, skillful rallies, and thrilling chess matches. The competition showcased a wide range of tactics, refined techniques, and impressive physical strength.

More than just a sporting event, it was a meaningful opportunity for CityLand Group employees to enhance their health, express their athletic talents, and exchange experiences. The event helped foster team spirit, encourage a vibrant and competitive atmosphere, and contributed to the continued success and strength of CityLand Group as a united collective.

Vice General Director Nguyễn Hữu Tài gave words of encouragement and support to the competing teams.

After two days of spirited competition, the “CityLand Day” event concluded with great success, featuring thrilling and memorable performances across all matches. The Organizing Committee awarded 4 First Prizes, 4 Second Prizes, and 6 Third Prizes to outstanding athletes who competed in three sports categories: football, badminton, and Chinese chess.

After two exciting days of competition, the teams earned their well-deserved victories.

True to its theme, the “CityLand Day” was filled with vibrant emotions, uniting athletes and supporters alike. It brought together the entire CityLand Group family to celebrate the 20th anniversary with renewed hopes and aspirations. This year’s CityLand Day was not only a meaningful milestone marking two decades of growth and development, but also a joyful and engaging playground—promoting wellness, team spirit, and stronger bonds among colleagues and departments across the Group.

The “CityLand Day” Sports Festival was one of the most meaningful highlights in a series of commemorative activities—an opportunity for CityLand Group to express heartfelt gratitude to its employees who have journeyed alongside the company over the past 20 years. At the same time, it created a space for every member of the CityLand Group family to better understand the company’s formation, growth, and development journey—strengthening unity and deepening the bond across generations of CityLanders.
