On September 24, 2023, the People’s Committee of Go Vap District, the Go Vap District Business Association, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Go Vap District, and other relevant units jointly organized the “B2B Trade Promotion” program and the “Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration” at Hòa Bình Square – CityLand Park Hills Residential Area. CityLand Group was honored to accompany the organizers in contributing to the success of both events.

B2B Trade Promotion – A Gathering of Vietnamese Products
At the event, Mr. Vũ Khắc Hiệp – Vice President of the Go Vap District Business Association – shared:
“2023 marks a year of gradual economic recovery. Therefore, all departments and agencies within Go Vap District have not only prioritized community-oriented initiatives but also continuously sought solutions to support businesses. This includes actively organizing trade promotion activities aimed at resolving difficulties and jointly creating meaningful, human-centered values for society.”

The event attracted over 100 booths representing businesses operating across Go Vap District. The wide variety of products and services showcased at the event provided meaningful shopping experiences for the local community, including residents of CityLand Park Hills. Visitors had the opportunity to explore innovative new offerings—particularly those focused on environmental protection and health improvement.
The event truly became a highlight, attracting both locals and tourists to Hoa Binh Square. At the same time, it played a vital role in boosting demand, promoting trade, and enhancing commercial outreach for Go Vap District in particular and Ho Chi Minh City as a whole.
The event drew a large crowd of residents from Go Vap District.
This year’s “B2B Trade Promotion” program generated highly positive responses, laying a strong foundation for the organizers to further expand future events—especially the upcoming Trade Promotion and Price Stabilization Program in celebration of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Month 2023, tied to the national campaign “Vietnamese People Prioritize Vietnamese Goods,” scheduled for October.
Full Moon Festival Night – Raising Funds for 1,000 Lanterns and Mooncakes
Also on September 24, the organizing committee successfully held the “Full Moon Festival Night” with the participation of children from 41 schools across 16 wards in Go Vap District.
“The Full Moon Festival Night” brought truly meaningful childhood moments for the children.
During the event, the children took part in joyful and enriching activities such as the lantern parade, an art collage contest, a paper cup painting competition, exploring food stalls and creative technology booths, and enjoying various exciting games at the play stations.

The program concluded with vibrant and captivating art performances, bringing a joyful and memorable Mid-Autumn Festival to the children of Gò Vấp District and the residents of CityLand Park Hills.
The Central Team Council, along with generous sponsors and CityLand Group, showed heartfelt care and dedication in organizing the 2023 edition of the “Lanterns Lighting Up Dreams” program.

On the evening of September 27, in Đồng Xoài City, Bình Phước Province, the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival celebration “Lanterns Lighting Up Dreams” took place under the theme: “Doing Good Deeds Together for a Joyful Mid-Autumn.” President Võ Văn Thưởng attended and delivered a speech. Also present were leaders from various ministries, sectors, and local authorities.
In addition to the main event in Bình Phước, the program was livestreamed via social media platforms of the Central Youth Union, the Central Team Council, and the “Vietnamese Youth” app. It was also connected to 14 satellite locations across the country, including Hà Giang, Hanoi, Lào Cai, Ninh Bình, Hải Phòng, Quảng Ninh, Hà Tĩnh, Đắk Lắk, Lâm Đồng, Đồng Nai, Bình Dương, Ho Chi Minh City, Bến Tre, and Kiên Giang. The main event in Bình Phước welcomed 1,000 children.
During the celebration, 100 children—50 of whom lost their parents due to the COVID-19 pandemic and 50 from disadvantaged backgrounds in Bình Phước—received Mid-Autumn gift packages and scholarships worth VND 2 million each from President Võ Văn Thưởng. In addition, they were awarded another VND 2 million scholarship from the Central Youth Union, Central Team Council, and various supporting organizations, businesses, and individuals. More than 1,000 underprivileged children from different districts and cities in Bình Phước also received a lantern and a Mid-Autumn gift set worth VND 350,000 each.

President Võ Văn Thưởng presented scholarships to children facing difficult circumstances, including orphans and those who lost parents due to COVID-19, from the provinces of Đồng Nai, Bình Dương, Tây Ninh, and Ho Chi Minh City.
This marks the 11th year of the “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” initiative and the 3rd year of the “Lanterns Lighting Up Dreams” program, organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Team Council.
