CITYLAND GROUP ORGANIZES “RED SPRING FESTIVAL 2022”

In response to the call from the People’s Committee of Go Vap District and the Red Cross Society of Go Vap District, the Trade Union of CityLand Group (CityLand Group Co., Ltd.) coordinated and mobilized employees and residents of CityLand Park Hills Residential Area to participate in the blood donation program “Red Spring Festival” on the morning of February 23, 2022.

The “Red Spring Festival 2022” took place at the Community Activity House of Apartment CH1 – CityLand Park Hills Residential Area.

Over 35,000cc of blood was donated, bringing the hope of life to patients who are in desperate need of voluntary blood donations. The entire volume of blood collected today will be used to supplement and meet the urgent demand for blood in emergency care and treatment. More importantly, it provides a timely addition to the increasingly depleted blood reserves at hospitals inside and outside the military system, contributing positively to the ongoing efforts in the fight against Covid-19.

The event attracted over 100 volunteers, including CityLand employees, residents of CityLand Park Hills, and citizens of Go Vap District.

Joining the meaningful program with a spirit of volunteerism and enthusiasm, many CityLand Group staff members arrived early in the morning. Most were familiar faces who had previously participated in numerous community-oriented charity events organized or supported by the company. Among them was Mr. Trần Ngọc Hậu, who marked his 10th blood donation — contributing 450cc each time.

The event successfully collected over 35,000cc of blood, providing timely replenishment for the critically low national blood reserves.

Speaking on behalf of the CityLand Group Labor Union, Ms. Trình Thị Thu Thủy shared:
“The Labor Union in particular, and CityLand Group as a whole, have always been active participants in various community and charitable initiatives — including blood donation drives. We are especially proud that, for the first time, the CityLand Group Labor Union proactively coordinated with relevant partners to organize this event and mobilize participation from both residents and employees. The enthusiastic response we received is truly heartwarming. We aim to continue this meaningful initiative as part of the company’s lasting and impactful community tradition.”

CityLand Group will continue to uphold this meaningful initiative as a cherished tradition for the community.

Voluntary blood donation is a noble act of kindness, where each individual contributes to the wellbeing of society by offering their precious blood — increasing the chances of saving countless lives. It is not only a life-saving gift, but also a gesture that promotes health benefits and instills a deep sense of pride in every donor.
