CITYLAND TRADE UNION HONORED WITH CERTIFICATE OF MERIT FOR EXCELLENCE IN THE “GREEN – CLEAN – BEAUTIFUL” WORKPLACE SAFETY CAMPAIGN 2023

On June 26, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation held a conference to review the “Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) 2024” and to commend 234 outstanding individuals recognized as “Excellent and Creative Workers” in 2023.

Acknowledging the collective efforts of CityLand’s union members, employees, and trade union organization in complying with legal regulations and contributing to the sustainable development of CityLand Group, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation awarded CityLand Trade Union as one of 41 exemplary collectives receiving a Certificate of Merit for exceptional performance in the “Green – Clean – Beautiful, Safe and Hygienic Workplace” emulation campaign in 2023. Additionally, Ms. Vo Thu Ha, Chairwoman of CityLand Trade Union, was individually recognized with an “Excellent and Creative Worker” award.

Over the years, internal emulation movements have been actively implemented at CityLand. These campaigns have received strong support from union members, fostering a vibrant and widespread spirit of competition while also driving professional productivity and performance. This has played a vital role in fostering a positive corporate culture and strengthening the union members’ commitment to improving the working environment.

CityLand Group remains committed to prioritizing employee welfare, workplace safety, and supports the Trade Union in delivering practical programs that benefit staff well-being. Some key efforts include:

• Participation in National Week on occupational safety and fire prevention
• Collaborating with authorities to organize fire safety and emergency response training
• Encouraging a culture of safety and maintaining a tidy, efficient workspace
• Launching green space campaigns, such as tree-planting around office premises, spreading the spirit of green living

The success of the “Green – Clean – Beautiful; Safe and Hygienic Workplace” campaign has increased awareness among employees about environmental protection, health, and overall quality of life, thereby inspiring greater dedication in work and contributing to the sustainable growth of the company.
